Where it all began.
When I was little, I used to daydream about all the βfunβ jobs I might have one day. I wanted to be a fashion designer, a teacher, a veterinarian, and, believe it or not, a wedding planner.
But as I got older, my interests changed. I went to college with the dream of becoming a neurosurgeonβ¦.until Organic Chemistry convinced me otherwise. If you know, you know.
One thing remained consistent through it all: I love people, and I especially love bringing lots of moving pieces together into something beautiful.
So, when I got engaged, I knew I wanted to plan my own wedding. From the earliest ideas, like our color palette, to the final details like our seating chart, I discovered how much joy I found in the planning process. I loved every second of it. And better yet, I got to marry my best friend!
But on the actual day, I was the only one with all the answers, and I felt it. It left me feeling overwhelmed and as if I couldnβt just enjoy the day. Thatβs when I understood, firsthand, just how much having a coordinator changes everything.
So younger Whitney had it right all along. Shortly after, I decided to launch this business to give other couples what I wish Iβd had and now, I help brides just like me bring their visions to life.
I really couldnβt ask for anything better and Iβm so glad youβre here.
