Here’s how it all began.

I went to college with the dream of becoming a neurosurgeon….until Organic Chemistry convinced me otherwise. If you know, you know.

Throughout all my career changes and interests, one thing remained consistent: I love people, and I especially love bringing lots of moving pieces together into something beautiful.

When I got engaged, I knew I wanted to plan my own wedding. It was only then I discovered how much joy I found in the planning process. And better yet, I got to marry my best friend!

But, on my own wedding day, I was the only one with all the answers and that’s when I realized just how important having a planner or coordinator is. And so, Weddings by Whitney was born.

Now, I help brides just like me bring their visions to life. I really couldn’t ask for anything better.

A FEW THINGS ABOUT ME

My husband and I love our animals. We have a puppy named Arya (Ari for short) and will soon be adding our newly adopted puppy, Baela, to the family. If you get the name references, we can be best friends ;)

In my free time, I like to go on hikes, read historical fiction and fantasy novels, and travel. And my favorite drink is a brown sugar cinnamon latte!

One fun fact about me is that I am Nigerian! My family relocated to the US in 2013, and have been in Springfield ever since. I am so proud of my heritage.
